This is an expensive stand for sure but, at it's price point it is top of the line. For those on the fence regarding price, one key benefit is you can have 2 headphones on the stand at one time without crowding either pair. That alone makes this a $30 per unit cost if you hang 2 cans on it.The build quality of this stand is bar none. The stand comes packaged in a flat black box and all the pieces are encased in styrofoam casing. This is one solid and heavy stand that is well balanced and no fear of it tipping over. You have to put the stand together as it comes in 3 pieces base, neck, and hanger. The hardware is 4 small screws and metal plate that attaches the neck to the hanger stand underneath. The neck attaches to the base with 2 longer screws that you screw in from underneath the stand. There are 3 rubber foot pads attached and one that you attach after screwing the base to the neck.This is high grade aluminum with attention paid to detail and design. I didn't experience any sharp edges per say, the cuts are all beveled but I can see how some people may think that by the angles on the hanger. The finish is a matte feel of which i have no issues, I like it because once you place your cans on it they stay rock solid in place. Height is 11 inches from the bottom of the base to the top of the highest middle point on the hanger section. It fits my Sennheiser Momentums 2.0 Wireless and Oppo PM-3 with plenty of room underneath them.The only drawback and it is a minor one is that the stand provides no type of cable management.You either detach the cable of or you can wrap around the neck (ugly look).
